1900 Osceola Post Office was established on January 10, 1900 with John K. Jeffrey as postmaster. Its name was changed to Rudefeha on September 22, 1900 until the office's discontinuation in 1905.

1908 Sublet Post Office was established on January 10, 1908. Sublet was a coal mining town north of Kemmerer

1917 Namesake of the city Cody, Wyoming, William F. “Buffalo Bill” Cody died on January 10, 1917 at his sister's home in Denver, Colorado.
