1844 Francis Emroy Warren, the first governor of the state of Wyoming and a United States Senator for four decades, was born in Hinsdale, Massachusetts on June 20, 1844. Several places in Wyoming are named in his honor, including Mount Warren in Fremont and Sublette Counties and F.E. Warren Air Force Base in Cheyenne.
