1872 An article about Evanston was published by the Evanston Age on October 10, 1872. 

 

1913 The Laramie Peak area was declared a game reserve on October 10, 1913.

1949  The Snake River Compact, negotiated by the representatives of both Idaho and Wyoming was signed on October 10, 1949. It divides the Snake River and the Salt River between Idaho and Wyoming.
