Wyoming Places is an online resource about the places
and place names of Wyoming.

The purpose of Wyoming Places is to provide information

about places in Wyoming, their location, a brief history,

the origin of their name, and, when available, stories about them.

We are using original sources as well as published sources

in the public domain. Names of the sources are given for

those who want to do further research. We also link to online

resources that relate to the place. These resources must be

consistent with our focus and be authoritative, persistent

and noncommercial.

Wyoming Places can be searched by Name or browsed by

Feature or County. To search "Place and Time", use the

search box in the upper right corner of this page.
