1870 The first patent issued to a resident of the Territory of Wyoming was Patent number 101,711 to George C. Choate of Wyoming Station, Albany County in the Territory of Wyoming, patented an improvement in shovel-handles on April 12, 1870.
1890 Natrona County was created May 9, 1888 and organized April 12, 1890.
1934 Harry Sinclair bought the refinery and the town of Parco on April 12, 1934 and renamed it Sinclair.
1911 Converse County's Carnegie Library building was officially accepted in formal ceremony on April 12, 1911. A new Converse County Library was dedicated on April 21, 1968. It was erected on the same site as the original Carnegie Library stood.
