1873 "An Act to incorporate Laramie City" was approved by Governor J. A. Campbell on December 12, 1873 to
"take effect and be in force from and after the 13th day of January, 1874."
1901 Circle Post Office was established on December 12, 1901 with John E. Landis as postmaster. Circle was the location of the Wind River Live Stock Company, of which John Landi, was part owner. One of the brands of the company was a circle.
1919 The Story Fish Hatchery received a shipment of Steelhead (Rainbow) Trout eggs from Wisconsin. The Wyoming Game and Fish Hatchery was constructed in 1909 and is still in operation today.
