1923 Mammoth Post Office in Natrona County was established on February 5, 1923. Mammoth was the camp for the Mammoth Oil Company. The location was also known as the Tea Pot Naval Reserve.

1927 Wyoming adopted the meadowlark as its State Bird on February 5, 1927.
