February 9

1933 Records indicate the coldest temperature ever recorded in Wyoming occurred on February 9, 1933. It was -66° F at the Riverside Ranger Station. However, the Riverside Ranger Station, which no longer exists, was actually near West Yellowstone, Montana. With that in mind, the record low for Wyoming is -63° F at Moran on that same night of February 9, 1933.

1984  The Divide Sheep Camp in Carbon County was added to the National Register of Historic Places on February 9, 1984. It is located northeast of Baggs, Wyoming.
