1870 On January 11, 1870, a fire in downtown Cheyenne burned two city blocks and 88 buildings.

1908 Gebo Post Office was established on January 11, 1908 in Big Horn County prior to the formation of Hot Springs County. Samuel W. Gebo was its first postmaster.

1912 The January 11, 1912 Rawlins Republican announced the incorporation of Dixon.

1932 Ten Sleep was incorporated on January 11, 1932.
