1804 On May 14, 1804, Lewis and Clark set out from the mouth of the River Dubois on the Corps of Discovery Expedition. Although they did not travel through Wyoming, their expedition resulted in one of the first maps to name some Wyoming places including Heart Mountain and the Stinking Water River. 1883 Hatton Post Office in Albany County was established on May 14, 1883.

1886 Dexterville Post Office in Carbon County was established on May 14, 1886 with Hiram F. Dexter as postmaster.

1908 Crowheart Post Office in Fremont County was established on May 14, 1908.
