1861 Sage Creek Station, a stage station on the Overland Stage Route located fourteen miles west of the North Platte Crossing, was built on May 2, 1861 from aspen and pine logs.

1881 Riverdale Post Office in Crook County, was established on May 2, 1881. It was located on the Belle Fourche River.

1910 Lucerne Post Office was established on May 2, 1910 in Big Horn County prior to the formation of Hot Springs County.

1914 Brookside Post Office in Laramie County was established on May 2, 1914. It was located on Sprager Creek.
