1902 On May 22, 1902, President Theodore Roosevelt issued three proclamations regarding forests in Wyoming. Proclamation 473 established the Yellowstone Forest Reserve by combining the Yellowstone Park Timber Land Reserve and the Teton Forest Reserve. Proclamation 474 established the Medicine Bow Forest Reserve. Proclamation 475 enlarged the Big Horn Forest Reserve.

1914 Armenta (now Arminto) and Wolton were in the Casper Press at the beginning of the sheep-shearing season.
