1885 Arland Post Office was established on November 10, 1885 in Fremont County prior to the formation of Park County.

1894 Farrall Post Office in Crook County, was established with William Farrall Smith as its first postmaster. Farrall was the maiden name of Mr. Smith's mother.

1945 The last trainload of internees left Heart Mountain and the camp was closed.
