1867 On November 13, 1867, the rails of the Union Pacific Railroad were laid into Cheyenne followed shortly by a whistle-blowing locomotive.

1884 Beckwith Post Office was first established on November 13, 1884 in Uinta County prior to the formation of Lincoln County.

1914 The new town of Deaver. Deaver was named for D. Clem Deaver, who was immigration agent for the Burlington Railroad from 1905 to 1914.
