1869 In Cheyenne, the first issue of the Wyoming Tribune was published on November 20, 1869. It has had various related titles— Cheyenne Tribune, State Tribune—through the years, but survives today as the Wyoming Tribune-Eagle having been merged with another early Cheyenne newspaper, the Wyoming Eagle in 1994.
