1882 On November 7, 1882 at about 6:30 p.m. Mountain time, a relatively large earthquake occurred. It was felt strongly in Colorado and Wyoming. The Saturday "Laramie Weekly Sentinel" reported on its impact in Laramie City.
1904 Anchor Post Office was established on November 7, 1904 in Big Horn County prior to the formation of Hot Springs County. It was named for the brand of the first postmaster, Charles E. Blonde.
1983 A new Riverton Branch Library opened on November 7, 1983.
