1884 The Big Horn Townsite Company ran an advertisement in the Big Horn Sentinel promoting the town of Big Horn.

1923 Lox Post Office in Natrona County was established on October 25, 1923 with Esther V. Wells as postmaster. Probably named after the Lox Syndicate, a petroleum and mineral company that incorporated in Wyoming in 1920.
